Domain transfer policy
The expected path for moving a domain into or away from Honk, including authorization, locks, and status visibility.
Pre-launch notice
Paid domain registration is not yet available. This policy describes the current website and the operating rules Honk is preparing for launch. Commercial terms, legal-entity details, launch markets, and any jurisdiction-specific notices will be finalized before checkout opens.

Your transfer rights
Honk will not create unnecessary barriers to an eligible transfer. Transfers remain subject to identity checks, authorization, security controls, the applicable TLD rules, and the upstream registrar's implementation of ICANN policy.
Transfers into Honk
- The domain must be eligible and unlocked where required.
- The requester must supply valid authorization and complete any required approval steps.
- Registry, premium, renewal, and transfer pricing will be confirmed before submission.
- A pending request is not complete until the upstream registrar or registry confirms it.
Transfers away
Eligible customers will be able to unlock a domain and obtain the required authorization method after appropriate re-authentication. Honk may apply a permitted temporary lock or deny a request where policy allows, such as a recent registration or transfer, a reasonable ownership dispute, fraud, or a court order.
Security and status
Transfer-sensitive actions will require a recent sign-in and may require typed confirmation. Honk will display known transfer state and preserve an audit record. Customers should contact support immediately if they receive an unexpected transfer notice.
Controlling policy
The applicable registry and upstream registrar rules control where they impose a mandatory requirement. For ICANN-governed domains, the current Transfer Policy provides the baseline process and permitted denial reasons.
